The Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate our first, second, and third place teams, as well as the winners of our two long-drive and closest to the pin contests:
First Place
With a score of 26 on the front nine and a 27 on the back nine for a total of 53 is the first-place team of: Bob Elliott, Richard Bowers, Wayne Hill, and Wayne Baker. Along with the first place “traveling” trophy that they will hold until our next tournament, Bob, Richard, Wayne, and Wayne will each receive an exceptionally nice canvas folding chair donated by our friends at Benchmark Community Bank.
Second Place
Our second-place team with a score of 28 on the front nine and 26 on the back nine for a total of 54 is: Johnny King, Denny Buchanan, Jon Franklin, and Jeff Knapp. They will receive a second-place finish trophy.
Third Place
With a score of 28 on the front none and 28 on the back nine for a total of 56, our third-place teams is Scott Reece, Chris Taylor, John Barham, and John Bledsoe. They will receive a third-place finish trophy.
Long Drive Hole #1
Our player with the longest drive on hole #1 is Barry Carpenter. Barry will receive an Oniva Cart Cooler with Trolley. Benchmark Community Bank donated the cooler.
Long Drive Hole #15
The longest drive on hole #15 was made by Richard Bowers. Richard will receive a golf package that includes one dozen Titleist Pro V1 golf balls, a golf umbrella, and a cooler. The golf package was donated by Farm Bureau Insurance (Wayne Champion).
Closest to the Pin Hole #5
Closest to the pin on hole number 5 was Shane Mitchell. Shane will receive a Picnic Time cooler backpack and a Toscana Cheeseboard. These nice gifts are also donated by our friends at Benchmark Community Bank
Closest to the Pin Hole #17
Making the closest shot to the pin on hole 17 was Kenny Abbott. Kenny will receive a tote bag that includes a very nice beach towel and beverage mug. Our good friends at Maria Parham Franklin donated the gifts for our hole 17 closest to the pin contest.
